year or $12.00/five year) was established to allow those who use Colorado's
backcountry to contribute to the fund, even if they don't have a current hunting
or fishing license, snowmobile, ATV, or boat registration, all of which
contribute to the fund through a 25 cent surcharge. The fund reimburses county
government for expenses incurred during search and rescue activities. More
